This is my entry for the Nibblefestart contest. Please search NFAC, or click on the banner in the listing to see more great from the NFAc artists. This months theme is Favorite childhood story. The black Stallion was one of my favorite books to read during my childhood. It was a story about a boy, Alec Ramsey, and a wild arabian Stallion, called the Black. The scene I painted is of of the Black over looking the ocean, and after her and Alec Ramsey end up shipwrecked, and stranded on an Island. This is pianted with the best quality acrylics on a 8x10 inch flat canvas panel. The picture turned a bit blurry for some reason, when I scanned it. It is much clearer looking in person. it is ready to frame. and will come varnished for protection. This painting comes signed and dated by me, Janelle Dixon. It will also come signed and dated on the back. The winning bidder will be emailed their very own EBSQ certificate of authenticity to print off.
