This little guy is painted on a 8x10 gallery wrapped stretched canvas board. The sides are free from staples, so it can be hung as is. The painting is done with grumbacher oils. I refferenced the subject from oneof my own pigeons, since I raise that breed. They are called an archangel because of the upright tuft of feathers on the back of the neck. The tuft is supposed to be shaped like an angels wings.
