Media:  oil
Dimensions:  9x12
Date of Work:  2008

This is an oil painting of a lion head rabbit. The best quality Grumbacher oils were used to create this. This is painted on a 9x12 Masters touch, museum collection artist gallery warp canvas. The edges are staple free, so there is no need to frame if you don't want to. This painting will come varnished for protection. It will also come signed and dated by me, Janelle Dixon. The winning bidder will be emailed an electronic EBSQ certificate of authenticity. Lion heads are a relatively new breed rabbit. Although they are not recognized as a purebred by the American rabbit breeders association, they are very popular as pets. They have a unique mane of long angora like fur that grows around their heads, and sometimes around their legs and bottom. The rest of the fur resembles that of normal rabbit fur. Thus making them look as if they have a mane. When considering purchasing a bunny, please contact a breeder, or reputable rescue first.
