Originally my nibblefest art contest entry. It is a 12x12 oil painting of common loons swimming in a lake done on a gallery style canvas. Wild loons are fantastic and beautiful looking birds. One of my first paintings was done of a loon. They are one of my favorite wild birds. I was inspired to paint this because I love to paint wildlife, and birds are one of my favorite and most difficult subjects to paint. Sold
