Jill Falk is a self taught artist, who has been painting for about eight years(which is also the number of infinity). Her work reflects the deep magic of a rich and untamed imagination. In her spare time she enjoys making short films with paper mache' puppets.
I fell in love with painting from the very first. The feeling of paint gliding under the direction of my wand(um, I mean paintbrush). The sensation of being in my imagination station world and the physical one at the same time. It was utterly fantastic. And that was it for me, thats all I wanted to do. Everything else suddenly lost its appeal, and my tiny apartment was soon overladen with small cardboard paintings.
I love to paint. I love to make things. I love creating! When I participate in the act of creation I am connected to everything. And thats it for me. I want to be in that space as much as possible, even when I’m not painting. I want to be there/here ALL of the time, with my mind as paintbrush, my feelings as paint, and the world around me one great wonderous canvas.
