This piece is a digital collage using a wacom tablet, photoshop, stock images and Lassie text borrowed from wikipedia.org. I love how old tv sets had real personalities. I printed this piece out with plans to paint on top of it, or glue stuff to it ....something to make it more of an assemblage piece, but it just seemed way too finished as is. The yellowish shadow to the left of the tv and on the highlighted words harken back to the days when out of register printed pieces regularly made it to the market place, as though nobody would notice.
