Follow up piece to my first daisy portrait with my Scottie puppy "Pixel". This piece was created in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. In this version of puppy eating daisy I wanted to get looser with my lines and bolder with my color. This was actually a warm up exercise this morning before I start on my portrait commissions. When working on client projects I often find myself approaching each piece with such a strong desire to flatter my subject that I forget to loosen up and have fun. This piece is going to hang in my office to remind me to play, break rules, and sink my teeth into my work.
