This book was created on commission for a young woman celebrating her bat mitzvah. The book is to serve as both a guest book and a scrapbook of the special event.

The 30-page album with spacers is stab bound with beads on the spine between handpainted covers. The spine is also further embellished with a variety of fibers from wool yarn to novelty fiber and even silk ribbon. Beads and a charm have been strung on some of these fibers. Then, a plexiglas window with the name of the young woman and date of the bat mitzvah was laced to a frame to make a suspended window. After the big day a cropped photo can even be slid into this frame below the title if desired.

This book as been sold, however you may order one to your own specifications by inquiring about commissions.
