These are adorable highland cattle that I sketched in burnt umber on creamy white paper. No sketching with graphite, just put brush to paper. The cattle were a very friendly pair that came up and wanted to be petted and fussed over, very unusual for cows, who usually ignore you or look suspiciously at you (at least the ones at a friend's dairy farm are complete disinterested in us.) These guys were like teddy bears.
