This is a small painting, ACEO sized, of a seal-point Himalayan. The whiskers are created with a masquepen--a fine nozzled dispenser of frisket or masking fluid. The eyes are cobalt blue and French ultramarine, and the background is indanthrone blue over ultramarine blue. I've had many cat pets including some Siamese, but never a Himalayan. They share the characteristic "points" of a Siamese and the blue eyes of the partial albino trait.
