This painting features the Sirens Gaze Faery and her two Sea-Horse friends. I wanted to create an underwater scene that included a Faery as opposed to a Mermaid. She has lovely sea vegetation for wings and is gazing serenely whilst the water gently swirls around her, the two adorable Sea-Horses are quite curious as to what she is all about. Various watercolor techniques were applied in glazes to create the depth of color and textures.
