This is my RIP piece of Aimee Dingman’s (podkaynestudios) piece, “Drowning”. I was drawn to this piece when I first saw it, and when I got the honor of being paired up with Aimee, I knew what I had to RIP.
This is my first RIP show, and I decided to use some iridescent paint for the water, and continued the iridescence to the woman. The background wall is a brownish orange with red “faux” texture added. It is acrylic paint, painted on 140 lb watercolor paper. Measures 11 inches by 14 ¾ inches, and will fit perfectly in a standard 11 / 14 mat.
