As a boy I had only two real toys that mattered. One was a Schwinn Sting Ray Bike and the other was a Big Chief Tablet and a pencil or two.

I was around 6 when I got my first bike and it has come to be the only toy I have constantly owned. The importance of it I did not realize fully until now. A bike hangs in my home over my bed at this moment.

Tonight, when I visited the EBSQ site for the first time in a few weeks, air rushed into my lungs. I saw the word TOYS and instantly I was on my bike rushing down alleys, listening to the radio, jumping curbs. it was a transforming moment, clear inspiration.

A few mouse clicks took me to some recent work I had done in Neon with a film camera. There it was, a Fat Tire advertisement, a bike in a dark window. Imported into Photoshop and a few paint strokes later the image of me flying down the road on my bike was born. Now, I sit and smile having transended my day and it's woes.

Thank you EBSQ! I truly love you!
