Art, both as the process, and as the product, is an amazing adventure. I believe it was searching for me as much as I was endeavoring to find it. Our paths crossed in 2001. Never having had formal training, my experience with it has been a roller coaster ride. The ups and downs of creating have brought forth both emotional fulfillment and intellectual challenge.

Being an "untrained" artist, it has been difficult at times to translate into a visual manifestation my thoughts and emotions. In the beginning, my paintings were solely about the "picture." The visual impact. Slowly, however, it has become my own oration of sorts. At times soliloquy, at times (hopefully) an engaging discourse, and still at others nothing but mere rant. But most importantly, it is my opportunity give back to a world that has given so much to me. Life is unique and rare, and every piece of my work is in part tribute to that one fact
