Hello, and thank you for your interest in my art!

I am a self-taught artist living in Gig Harbor, Washington. I have always been an artist. In my early years, my focus was primarily drawing charcoal portraits of animals and people. Now I pretty much do whatever kind of art moves me. I enjoy painting and using colorful media to make paper or canvas come to life.

Click on the "Portfolio" link above to browse my portfolio. Please check back often, as I will be adding more pictures of my artwork as they become available. Unless marked sold, the original is available for purchase. Contact me for pricing. Prints of some of my artwork are available through Imagekind. I also accept commissions.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me via the envelope link in the bar above.

I hope you enjoy my art!

Comments from my collectors:

"Your painting very much reminded me of an amazing beach sunset I enjoyed while taking a winter drive down the Oregon Coast a couple of years ago. Now I will be reminded of it daily. Thanks!" Charles

Hi Kari, I just wanted to tell you how happy I am with my Mini Cat Painting, it's absolutely lovely! Absolutely! Lovely!! I just soaked it in, all the pencil lines and colors and the feeling that the cat is showing. And your presentation is gorgeous, I will treasure this always. Thank you for giving the world a chance to own your cat art! G'night, Susie

I received the box yesterday. All I can say is "WOW"!! Totally awesome!! I definitely want more!! Also, thanks for the fantastic way that you wrapped it. Got to me safe and sound. I'm totally thrilled with your art! I'm going to have it framed professionally. Honestly, I'm hooked. Joanne.

Dear Kari, Thank you for your kind note and prompt shipping. I began in my undergraduate years studying late medieval art, but have since expanded my interests further back to the prehistoric. Your triptych provides a nice way to incorporate this interest into my home. Sincerely, Gregory.

Thank you very much, Kari. Your work is the first abstract art I have ever purchased, and the colors and textures really caught my eye. Thanks, Mary

Painting arrived very quickly and is beautiful. Ingrid & Steve
