Cancer effects all of us. Whether we suffer individually from a form of cancer, have a friend or family member with cancer, know of someone with cancer or have heard about their friends with a form of cancer, we all eventually feel the effects. It is especially hard when children are afflicted with a cancer in their life. It could be a mom who has breast cancer, or they themselves who have the disease or a grandfather with colon cancer-whatever way children learn about cancer often sets the fear they have about all cancers. Learning through art and healing through art is just one avenue that can make the process a little easier.

In this art painting, the good parts of the body are attacking the bad cancer part of the body. One is even killing the cancer with love and kisses along with her medicine and super powerful kicks. Another is shooting lasers with death ray vision and vomitting some venom back on to the cancer because everytime the cancer makes her vomit it really is killing itself. It's a fun little piece that uses the imagination to add a little hope when talking about a serious subject.
