I painted this from the third floor of a Restored Post Office which was converted into an art studio. The village of Opoul is overlooked by the ruins of a 13th Century chateau and the light changed daily as the Tramontain, a strong wind from the Loire Valley blew the clouds across it. I did several paintings of this scene, this is my favourite.
