I painted this sitting in the lane that goes by my sister Trudi's house in Ireland. You can just about see her house in the trees to the right at the end of the lane, and to the right of this is a pink building that is her Art Studio. The lane leads to a farm house seen on the left and beyond that to a Graveyard. Further back along this lane is the ruin of the ancestral home of the owners of the farm house and keeping on you come to a wood where I have never seen deer but have seen the antlers they shed there. This place contrasts so extremely with the environment of LA in which I live that I feel I enter a dream each time I I go back and forth.
