This is an inspirational painting... The land is dead and desolate. But, through a crack in the earth, the flower which is representative of life, is growing toward the sun (which is representative of the Son of God, Jesus Christ). Life, love, truth, and light are inscribed on the stem of the flower. There cannot be growth without the Son.
