Mmm...I can smell the Fennel flowers from here. That's why my BLACK FANTASY CAT is always around. I searched about the FENNEL FLOWERS, and I found that it is a highly aromatic and flavorful herb with culinary and medicinal uses, and is one of the primary ingredients of absinthe. Florence fennel or finocchio is a selection with a swollen, bulb-like stem base that is used as a vegetable. I found this information at Wikipedia. My painting was done with colored pencils, acrylics, pastels, & gold/silver glitter, in black paper. Added a delicate gold & silver glitter around the flowers & leaves.
