This mixed media diptych is a graphic interpretation of the well-known seguaro cactus that dots the landscape of the American Southwest. When I work on monotypes, I always enjoy pulling ghost prints. This image orginated as a ghost print made with water-based inks. I loved the sandy effect created from the bubbling ink and finished the image off by working with color pencil.
