This oversized piece makes a bold yet peaceful statement. The four 22x28 canvases were hung up and painted as one. The colors are rich and serene. There are deep purples and blues in the shadows and brilliant browns (is that an oxymoron?) highlighted by turquoise, which is derived from my background in Chinese Brush Painting. Sides are painted black and the whole polyptic comes ready to hang.
