This painting was inspired by Michelangelo's glorious Sistine chapel masterwork - Creation of Adam. I turned the Renaissance idea into something romantic of what could happen this days. A man is giving hand to a woman promising love, care and trust.

Michelangelo painted figures into wet plaster, which got cracks with time, therefore I used plaster, sepia tones and trompe l'oeil technique to achieve an old fresco effect.
