This is my entry into the 2006 Pet Portrait Swap... meet Jenny Doss's sweet pooches, Sasha and Angus! It was a pleasure to work on this, and quite a challenge for me as well, for it was the first "official" pet portrait I have done. I had several photos to gleen inspiration from, and hope that I captured their personalities in a unique way. This piece was pyrographed (woodburned) on solid pine, and then painted with acrylics. I finished it off with some protective varnish and wire for hanging.
