This piece was created in contemplation of the dreams I had as a child, the idea conceived originally for the EBSQ May 2006 Horses Show and then sold in the December Nibblefest Contest. I dreamt of horses quite frequently, but my favorite dreams were when I was riding a horse that suddenly revealed its wings and took off in flight, taking me on a wild adventure through misty clouds. Sorry, this piece is sold. This piece was pyrographed (woodburned) onto solid pine, and then painted with acrylic paint, often watered down into a water-color-like consistency. I then finished it off with a strong coat of protective varnish and wire on the back for hanging.
