"This is my entry in the Nibblefest Art Contest, a themed art contest beginning on the 20th of each month. Please search for NFAC to see more great entries, starting at just 99¢!" This month's theme is gnarly trees. This piece is a chasing done on copper sheet 18 gage thick. Chasing is a process of inscribing lines into metal using various small chisels and punches. the work is finished with an oxidizing patina with a coating of paste wax. This is an ACEO, unusual in that most art card works are painting, drawing or watercolor. It has my hallmark in the lower left had corner of the front. I have used this halllmark on work that I have done since the early 80's.
