Before the Ballet
This piece of art won Cloud's Choice award in the art exhibit Art of Dance
~This was the very first ballerina that I painted and as I said in the description ~ there will be more. There has been several ballerinas painted since, but this one is still my all time favorite. ~Torrie
I have wanted to paint a ballerina for a long time. I am pleased with the way this one turned out and will be doing more.
Before the Ballet was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped museum quality canvas with painted sides. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
