I try to participate in the Challenges at Daily Paintworks as often as possible. I could not pass up this challenge. It is the Picasso It! challenge where you paint in the style of your favorite artist. Cezanne is just one of my many favorite artist and I love his still life compositions. This is my small version of his "Jug and Plate with Fruit" from 1893.

Cezanne's Jug was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
