This is one of my mixed media "Animal People" collages.
Using images culled from magazines that are on the way to the recycle bin, I carefully hand cut them with very small scissors. I really enjoy the process of matching up animal heads with human bodies to create the sorts of scenes that occur in my dreams. I try to suggest what might be happening in a collage, but ultimately I like to leave things open for interpretation by each individual viewer.
The background of this collage was created on cold press water color paper with water color paint, colored pencils and alcohol inks.
