This piece is almost all made from recycled paper. The body including the head and tail was cut from newspaper, back and front, glued together and then stuffed with more paper. The piece was then covered with 2 coats of latex primer. After all was dry several coats of green tissue were adhered with liquid starch and glitter glazed once dry. The face and arms were cut from construction paper that was also given the tissue paper treatment. Facial features were done in the same way. The hair was salvaged from some discarded yarn.
