I am an artist living in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I received a BA in art from Utah State University. I have taught art to children in the public schools and in my home for over 13 years. I began my art career as a portrait artist working mainly in graphite or Prismacolor colored pencil. I now work mainly in acrylics, collage, and Prismacolor pencils, sometimes combining all three on one canvas. I also recently began art journalling and I'm hooked. I love the freedom, the portability and the spontenaity. 

I enjoy experimenting with various styles and techniques. No matter what the style, my paintings always have lots of bright color and personality. 

I have had the honor of having a solo exhibit at a cafe in Mesilla, New Mexico. My work is also on permanent display in the New Mexico State University Engineering Department. 

My paintings have sold all over the country as well as internationally. I love getting to know people through my art.
