33 year old girl living in the Beautiful Kelowna BC. I am a self taught artist. I have been sculpting with clay and drawing for the last 23 years. I am a trained Interior Designer and had co-owned a small design firm in Victoria BC before becoming a mom. With less time of my hands for interior design, but a little more for creativity I taught myself how to needle felt using wool and various fibers. For the last two and a half years I have been creating Fantasy Wool creatures under Tanglewood Thicket Creations Studio which I started in 2000 while sculpting with clay. I create one of a kind colorful fantasy creatures, monsters and other unique beings using BC grown wool in which I hand dye with Kool-Aid, Icing dye and some acid dyes. My creatures range from approx. 10" to toddler size.
