I like to stretch now and then, so I did this piece fast and loose, not allowing myself to get caught up in detail. While I wanted to suggest a room waiting for occupants, I also wanted to depict how the piano, table & flowers are legitimate elements of thier own without people in the scene.
I used a bit different palette than usual, but it was enjoyable to execute. You'll notice a small painting in the upper rt hand corner of the work; this is another of my pieces; I reduced its' size in PhotoShop, printed it on cotton paper then PVA'd it to the canvas; so this work is really a two-fer; there are 2 ptgs in one ! :)
Hope you enjoy and thank you for taking the time to look~
Best Regards,
Susi
