I made this necklace as a surprise for my friend Vicki. Vicki and her man dropped everything and drove 3 hours each way, 3 weekends in a row, to help me get my studio put together this fall. Vicki and I have been freinds for a very long time, going on 40 years. We have celebrated many holidays together in the past but because of the distance we live apart, those days have been fewer and farther apart in the last few years. I do remember that Halloween is a favorite holiday of hers... so the other day I put together this necklace of lampwork beads that I made, and thought I'd surprise her, and sent it to her by mail.
