Diamonds and Stars Quail
This beautiful Pysanka was made in the traditional batik wax and dye process on a real blown quail egg, which is sealed with a coat of archival, industrial grade UV resistant, crystal clear finish. It measures approximately 1 1/4 inches tall. The process begins by meticulously measuring and drawing out the design in pencil before it goes through a process of waxing and dyeing.
Diamonds and Stars is a much larger version of the finch egg earrings that I make. The colors are bright and cheery, a cute little addition to your collection.
As with all my eggs, yours will come with a digital COA (Certificate of Authenticity) that allows you to register your piece in an online art database.
