This is my Quilled Wood Duck, an original artwork created by
placing my rolls of paper beneath my cut out, simulating the feathers in
the birds. It is framed under glass in an 8"x10" black oak frame,
finished
piece is 10"x12". This is one of my 'New Hampshire Ducks'
collection, any of which can be combined for a dramatic focal piece on a
wall.
The Wood Ducks are beautiful, with many colorful feathers. We see them on the Merrymeeting River in the summer season. I should say we hear them, as they are very shy and usually flying away by the time we realize they are there.
