Admit it, she is stunning.  Yea, irresistible!  This is my Fashionista Rhino, #8 in my 31 Days of Rhinos, a fun little series born out of my studio name, Smelly Rhino Studio.  But she is nothing to turn your nose up to, she is my tribute to fashion illustration, something many artists don't think about when they consider an art genre. But I'll tell you why it's important! Did you know that everyday artists for centuries have been illustrating for a living? It's advertising, baby, and we would simply die without this art form! You already know Alphonse Mucha for his posters featuring Sara Bernhardt.  Albrecht Durer illustrated plants.  Toulouse Lautrec said, "I Can Can!"  Well, Fashion Illustration has been the genre for advertising the couture of the day for 500 years!  ...and clothiers are the second oldest profession, I'll bet! ...
