Wheel thrown pasta bowl with underglazed painted iris decoration. The iris design was 'painted' on with mineral oxides mixed with a tiny bit of clear glaze. Clear glaze was then applied over the whole piece. The piece was fired to cone 6. This bowl is part of a set of four and a large serving bowl.
