What is an ACEO? It stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. ACEOs are always in the size of a baseball trading card, and most artists present them in clear plastic sleeves, as do I. They are a great way to collect tiny gems of art from your favorite artist. ACEOs (or Art Trading Cards) can be matted and framed, collected in an album or given as a beautiful little gift for someone who needs a lift when the spirits are down. They can also be displayed quite effectively without a frame by just standing them on a miniature easel. And best of all, just like baseball trading cards, art trading cards (ACEOs) are a collectible that increase in value over time.
My ACEOs, or ATCs come protected in a clear plastic sleeve, are initialed on the front and have the full signature, date, title and edition number of the work on the back.
