This country road could be anywhere and can feel familiar to many.
This is a scene from my mother's childhood in the late 1920's. The little girl is my mother, Norma Lee, and the little boy is her cousin Everett. The location is in the rural area of Cedonia, WA.
Reference photos were taken on a road trip with my mother about 6 years ago. I remember the home and its owner when I was a small child in the 1950's.
Professional quality acrylics paints were used on a gallery-wrap canvas.
