from my exotic animals series. horses have been my interest since I was only 5, asking my mother when I could own my own pony. unfortunately, that opportunity never came, so I paint them instead, feeding the dream in my mind that one day, a real one would be mine. "Iris Featherfoot" was my pretend horse as a child. She's beautiful, and so I wanted to express what she must look like in my mind.
