This was a very exciting scratchboard to do and my queen is colored in watercolor. You might guess she was made under the eye of a magnifying glass as the original is only 7"x5" and is etched in scratchboard with an exacto blade. Perhaps you may recognize a faint resemblance to Queen Elizabeth.
My queen is fractured because this new series gets its name from my version of fractured fairy tales where truth and fiction blend like a milk shake. In this new and very exciting series, children rule the world. Why? Because I think they'd do a far better job than the status quo.
