An entry into this months' "flower of the month". I was really excited to see the monthly flower was the iris, a particular favorite of mine. This is a painting of a huge iris that I grew in my garden. Every morning I would go out and photograph it, "just in case" something happened to it. Sure enough, one morning it was gone, along with it's eight siblings. The stalk had been worked back and forth by some pathetic individual until it broke off. I wonder how they felt when they looked at it dying in their house! I am happy to be able to allow my glorious iris to go on living this way.
Original one of a kind painting. Not a print or copy. signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
