This is a collage that I did on a vintage book cover. I love these old books, the pages are yellowed and soft, the covers show the years that have passed. I added part of the "declaration of independance" printed on vellum, a deckled-edge piece of rag watercolor paper, images from books, song scores and a vintage brass button with the treble clef on it. I finished it off with a piece of silky tasselled fringe. Would look perfect on a wooden display easel.
