I did this piece on canvas board. I used images from books, magazines and a vintage song book. The image of the woman is from Artchix Studios. The bird is from a book that I have of 19th century bird paintings. It's a wren, which my mother always called "jenny wren". This song was the closest one I could find. I have also added vintage buttons from my collection and red silky fringe on the bottom. The gorgeous red paisley background is from a box of Christmas chocolates. yum Original one of a kind.
