The image I used for this piece is from a painting by Sargeant, it's very popular as I have seen it used many times in different collages. I have painted her dress purple and created a red hat for her using red paisley paper with a red tulle plume. I added red glass jewels to it. The background is highly textured. This is done on a wrapped canvas and I have painted the sides so a frame is not needed. Original one of a kind mixed media painting, not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
