Sometimes I think I've done lost my mind... I just wanted to be serious for a moment, accept the FOTM challenge, the Muscari, and just draw a nice little flower. I pick up the pencil, start laying in colors, and the silliness comes out and just takes over. How can I be serious with this flower? I keep thinking that these are those little flowers that sneak up in the yard, scattered across the grass, a delight for children to discover after the blanket of snow gives way to spring. So as silly and cartoonish my entry may be, I think it captures the wonder and delight these blooms bring to a small child. This original ACEO is drawn with prismacolor pencils on heavy Stonehenge 100% cotton vellum paper. Thank you for viewing my art.
