What do you do when you discover the pre-drilled and milled mosaic clock base has a flaw? Errr... I expect center holes to be precisely centered at equal distance to all four sides to at least two decimal places - as a toolmaker, I often worked to four so the slightly off center hole stuck out like a sore thumb, had me fuming about quality workmanship. I almost scrapped the project, but the creative wheels started turning, creating an asymmetrical design.
For mosaic tiles, I used relatively flat red and white Czech glass beads... coin shapes, triangles, and hearts.
NFS, this mosaic clock has already found a new home.
