This is a painting of a Whale (just the fluke) in an eerie ocean scene. I wanted to depict stillness in early morning foggy ocean waters. All you can hear is the ripple of the whale gliding close to the surface and delicately raising and immersing the fluke. There is a mist from the whale's spray settling down over the water. It is done in acrylics, ink and watercolors.. I hope you enjoy it! Marty
