Mark Satchwill is a graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Graphic Design (Illustration). He has had two solo exhibitions, one in London in 2000, the other
in Dartmouth in 2006.

Primarily a traditional watercolourist, he has recently moved into creating his artwork digitally, using a variety of programmes but mostly Manga Studio and ArtRage.

He collaborates with writer Katherine Tomlinson on the NoHo Noir series of short stories, providing illustrations for the series. http://nohonoir.blogspot.co.uk/

Inspiration for his work comes from books, history, music, and film, as well as his garden. 

He is a full-time artist, dividing his time between private commissions, illustration work, and personal projects. 

He resides in Watford in the U.K. with his partner Mike, a dog, two cats, and two chickens.
